Toyota RAV4 1997 - 1998.
The Australian International
Motor Show
and the Tokyo Motor Show
both had a new Toyota RAV4 Cabrio on display.
Mechanically the 1998 RAV4 keeps the 2.0L four cylinder engine,
with some refinements, and the single-range
constant four wheel drive transmission system.
Not a full soft-top,
the RAV4 Cabrio has the rear roof, aft of the door pillars,
fold back and down, in the style of the
Freelander.
Cabrio on sale in Australia - Feb' 1998.
