Rotrax

Here is a Rotrax I almost bought in the U.K. a few years ago. The Rotrax was the forerunner to the Dakar vehicle designed by a dear friend of mine, Dennis Adams. The problem was that it was originally designed on Series-2 Cortina mechanicals, but has now been upgraded to 4x4 Ford Sierra running gear.

There is a company in South Africa (Rotrax S.A.) that have based the vehicle on Nissan 4x4 (Patrol) running gear and are now selling the vehicle in a minor role to the South African Defence Force
