Bushranger Max-Air at the Top of Air Compressor Field

Leading Australian off road accessory company Bushranger has scooped the pool in a major test of aftermarket portable air compressors.

Bushranger has snared yet another accolade for the Max-Air portable air compressor after being judged by a leading engineer in an independent test earlier this year.

The Bushranger Max-Air outperformed the competition in the rigorous tests to be named the best high-performance compressor.

The Max-Air reached the testing point of 130psi more than five minutes ahead of the nearest competitor.

During the test the Max-Air also recorded the lowest peak motor temperature.

The lower exhaust and peak motor temperature of the Max-Air enables the Bushranger compressor to offer increased reliability and durability for customers.

According to Bushranger national sales manager Mr Evan Black the tests show that while many compressors may appear the same from the outside tests such as this show the superior quality of Bushranger’s products.

“The tests have shown that you are putting yourself in jeopardy by using poor quality and inferior compressors, the cheap option may save a few dollars at the time of purchase but could cost you a lot down the track,” said Mr Black.

“If you’re in the middle of nowhere and need to inflate a tyre or seal a bead the last thing you want to find out is that your cheap clone compressor isn’t up to the task.”

“A compressor failure at this point could mean the difference between getting stuck or getting home,” he added.

“Better design and componentry, exacting manufacturing tolerances and a quality assurance system contribute to the superior performance of the Max-Air will ensure that users will never be stranded with a failed compressor,” said Mr Black.

The highly efficient Max-Air will easily pump a 10R.15 off-road tyre from 15 psi to 32 psi in 2 minutes and a built-on air filter with replaceable element assures that only clean air enters the unit for long life operation.

The Max-Air won the Best High Performance Compressor and Best Product Between $250 and $500 in the 4WD Monthly magazine.

In winning the award the Max-Air showed once again that Bushranger offers fast and reliable portable compressed air at an affordable price.

Available through all leading automotive accessory and four wheel drive equipment shops the Bushranger Max-Air are covered by a full five year no fuss warranty.

Bushranger is a division of Kingsley Enterprises a leading Australian manufacturer of automotive and four wheel drive accessories for more than a quarter century.
