Lights, Crowds and the Latest 4x4 Concepts

Famous for its bright lights, bustling streets and its New Year's Eve celebration, the exciting Jeep® Gladiator and Jeep Hurricane concept vehicles recently provided New York's world-famous Times Square with an attraction of a different kind.

The Gladiator and Hurricane concepts, which were debuted at this year's Detroit Auto Show, were in the New York City area as part of a local media event.

“Jeep is traditionally known for its go anywhere, do anything vehicle capability, but it’s also renowned for show-stopping concepts and extreme expressions,” said Gerry Jenkins, managing director, Chrysler Jeep Australia.

“These stunning concepts provide the public with a glimpse into the exciting future of four-wheel-drives,” said Jenkins.

In Australia, Jeep’s sales are up seven per cent for the year, with the iconic Wrangler leading the charge, up 79 per cent over 2004.
