Double Victory for Mercedes-Benz Vans
Melbourne – The Mercedes-Benz Vito and Sprinter vans have achieved a double victory in this year’s vote for Courier, Express and Package services (CEP) Van of the Year 2005.
The Mercedes-Benz Vito was voted “CEP Van of the Year 2005” in the class of vans up to 2.8 tonne, whilst the Sprinter was voted class winner for vans up to 3.5 tonnes.
Twenty-five experts from the Courier, Express and Package sector, some of them who could look back on five years of testing experience from previous competitions, made up the jury.
During the "AMI" fair in Leipzig they examined a total of 19 typical delivery vehicles for handling characteristics, comfort, practicality and design.
“This latest victory for the Vito and Sprinter highlights the customer appeal of Mercedes-Benz light commercial vans when it comes to practicality, design, comfort and handling,” said Mr Campbell York, senior executive responsible for Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles. |
