A few years back I placed my Troop Carrier into a Toyota Service department and had them screw up my axle. Upshot of this is several years later I still have a buggerred diff/axle assembly which I need too replace.
I live in my vechile purely off solar & would like too know if anyone has experimented with delivering power by an electric motor in some way too the rear wheels alleviating the need for running the diesel except for the case of 4wd'ing which would require the front transfer case too be engaged via the gearbox & hence the motor.
