I would appreciate any input you fellow Xtrailers may have here:

I have 2003 model nissal Xtrail ST.
I am looking at purchasing a 15 foot aluminium trailer boat which I intend to use mainly by beach launches.
I have found the Xtrail competent on the beach ( have a set of 225/75 BF Goodrich's on and usually deflate to 1.5 kpa for beach riding).
However I am a little concerned that I am going to find it hard going with a 4 cylinder petrol engine that develops it max power a fair way off the low range of rpm, manouvering the trailer and boat on the beach.

So I am asking the gurus whether I should attempt this and instantly spoil the boating trip, or look at getting soemthing with more low down grunt to perform the task.

Gavin
