1999 Australian 4WD and Adventure Show, Perth
Here's some pics from the Australian 4WD & Adventure Show - Perth 1999. It
set a new record for us with 28,000 attendees over the three days,
seeing over 160 exhibits over 80,000m2 (almost 3 times the size of
Geoff's Shed)
of display and demos. There was heaps of action (4x4
Australia action test ride track, Toyota water ski show (and
wake-boarding) at Toyota Beach, abseiling, flying fox, remote control
model car racing, fish filleting demos, casting demos, off road buggy
demos, trial motorcycle and mountain bikes, Barbeques Galore BBQ cooking
demos & fashion parades, ARB Diff locker action bed, TJM winching demos,
vehicle recovery (snatch-em strap, hand winch demos), Smart Bar crash
tests and more.
Star attractions included Hummers, Chevys, F150, Expedition, Wrangler
Rebel, Dodge Dakotas and all the 4WD marques - Toyota / Nissan / Holden
(Isuzu-GM) / Mitsubishi / Jeep / Mercedes Benz / Ford / F Heavy / Suzuki
/ Subaru / Daewoo / Daihatsu / Land Rover / Mazda / Honda and more.
For 2000
we will announce full details shortly but set aside
Brisbane dates July 14-16 at the Brisbane Convention Centre,
October 13-15 in Adelaide (SW Parklands) and
November 10-12 in Perth (McCallum Park).
