Pink Panther.

[picture of PinkPanther Land-Rover, it really is pink, jpg]

The Pink Panther Land Rovers are desert patrol vehicles used by the SAS. As you can see they really are pink. Pink is said to be one of the best camouflage colours for the desert. One often sees factory photographs with a driver resembling Lawrence of Arabia, or is it Peter O'Toole, and wearing Arab head gear.

Special features include sand tyres, a novel spare wheel mounting, no doors, machine gun mounting, lots of fuel tanks and jerry cans. Everything is aimed at keeping the vehicle as low and inconspicuous as possible.
