Jungle Airportable Buggy, JAB, 4WD.

The Jungle Airportable Buggy 4WD was a British Army experiment to build a super-light four wheel drive that could be dropped by parachute.
pictures an Jungle Airportable 4WD buggy The Airportable was also small and light enough to be man-handled through rough and narrow jungle tracks. It towed a small trailer and both the Airportable and the trailer could be floated across a river with the aid of a couple of empty Jerry cans to give buoyancy to the Airportable.

This prototype was built in 1945 by the Standard Motor Company and was at the Museum of Army Transport Beverley
