The museum holds over 100 vehicles
including four wheel drives, trucks, armoured vehicles,
the only Gutty
(the prototype Austin Champ),
the last remaining Blackburn Beverley aircraft,
and steam and diesel locomotives.
Early 1997: It seems that the museum may have closed down due to a loss of a subsidy from the council. Feb' 1998: we have been told it's back open.
