Geo Tracker 4WD

1992 Geo Tracker

John Planic's 1992 Geo Tracker atop a sand dune at Silver Lake State Park in Michigan on Labor Day 1997. The Tracker has a 2.5 inch Pro-Comp Suspension lift, rides on 235-75 R15 Firestone Radial ATX tires mounted on American Racing AR08 15 X 8 Rims. Bushwhacker Panel Flares were added to keep it legal in John's home state of Pennsylvania. Up front sits a Warn Push bar with a 6000lb. Warn winch, two 150 watt stainless steel KC Daylighters, and two stainless steel KC Fog lights. This little rig goes almost anywhere (sometimes, but not often, solely under winch power).

The Geo Tracker is made by Suzuki (Vitara model) for General Motors. It is almost exactly the same except fot trim and accessory options. In 1998, the "GEO" name has been discontinued and trackers are now known as Cheverolet Trackers. This situation is similar to the Jackaroo there is an Isuzu Trooper here in the US, and the Frontera is an Isuzu Rodeo here. Basically, its a Suzuki Vitara by model, but a GEO (General Motors/Cheverolet) by name-tag.
