2000 December: Suzuki (au) has released a four wheel drive tray version of the Carry light commercial vehicle.
The Carry 4x4 has constant all wheel drive, a flat deck, and a 500kg capacity. It is powered by a 1.3 litre 16-valve engine. Front suspension uses MacPherson struts, rear suspension a live axle with leaf springs. Brakes are disc/ drums.
Price: from $15,990 + orc ($au 12/2000). Warranty: three year/ 100,000km. Competitor: Kia Ceres has a one ton capacity.
