The Korando went on sale in Australia in January 1998.
It features a 2.3 litre 4-valves/cylinder
engine, based on the sporty Mercedes Benz four,
which is also an option in its bigger
Musso 4x4
brother.
Korando has a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic
gearbox and a 2-speed transfer case giving part-time four wheel drive.
Hard top and soft top versions are built.
