Saab 9X
2001 August:
Saab has released teaser pictures
of the Saab 9X concept car to be at the
Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2001.
The "multi-dynamic" 9X attempts to be a
"coupe, roadster, estate and even a pick-up" -
a trick that many manufacturer's have tried to pull off.
It is not stated whether the 9X is front wheel drive or 4x4;
given Volvo's 4x4 developments surely Saab will bring one out soon?
More details are held over until the show,
but the 9X seems to hold promise for big changes
flowing from General Motors buy out of Saab (in 2000).
