Renault Megane

2001 May: The Renault Megane Cabriolet (soft top) is now available in Australia. It has a 1.6 litre 4-cylinder engine (79kW at 5750rpm, 148Nm at 3750rpm).

The whole point of such a car is the open air driving experience and the Megane's "fully insulated folding electric roof with overhead grab handles and a demisting rear window" should suit changeable weather, such as in Melbourne, say. The Megane seats four, or two if the optional "roadbox" is fitted behind the front seats.

The Megane has front and side airbags for the front seat occupants, and ABS brakes with electronic brake force distribution. - 4wd.sofcom.com/Renault/Renault.html
