2001 March: The Peugeot 406 station wagon is to return to Australia in mid 2001. The 406 wagon will be available in two levels of trim - ST with a 2-litre turbo diesel, and SV with a 157 3-litre V6 (petrol).
Standard geatures include front and side airbags, climate control air-conditioning, and rain-sensing wipers.
Prices for the 406 station wagon start at 45,000 (). Automatic transmission (petrol or diesel) adds 2K. Peugeot is offering a 4-year unlimited kilometre warranty at no cost on all 406 models purchased before 23 April '01.
