Nissan Patrol MQ.
The Nissan Patrol MQ
was quite a step-up in terms of comfort
from the Jeep-like Nissan Patrol 60's.
Suspension is by live axles with leaf springs.
These springs are unusual in that all the leaves are full length.
The leaves are separated and only touch at pads at their extremities.

1981, right:
Nissan Patrol SWB. It has 286/75/16 muddies and 16"
Magnum rims.
It is powered by a
253 V8
and runs standard diffs and gear box.
A 3" exhaust system echoes well and with the fibre glass top you can see the
4" roll bar system and spotties.
A Panasonic CD with 4 6x9's and 2 12" subs
keep me grooving to my fav' tunes.
