Nissan 200 SX

2000 November: The new Nissan 200SX sports car went on sale in Australia.

It is powered by the SR20 dohc 2-litre turbo-charged and intercooled 4-cylinder engine. Gearbox choice is between a 6-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic. The former comes with a limited slip differential. The front suspension is by MacPherson struts, the rear by a multi-link system.

Driver and front passenger airbags are standard, as are ABS brakes and brake assist.

There are two levels of trim: S and R.  R gets air conditioning, electric sun-roof, tail spoiler, and side body skirts, over and above the S.
