International Rainforest Challenge 1997

Roger says he had complete faith
in the accuracy of the directions.
|

The 1997 International Rainforest Challenge
of Malaysia, previously known as the Transpen,
lived up to its name with plenty of forest and plenty of rain -
and mud.
Two Australian teams again competed:
The Roger Smith / Jim Patterson
Range Rover
came 2nd and Mike Smith's fourth.
That's Mike getting something out of his car below;
he drew the short-straw on this particular stage.
Thanks to Roger Smith and Jim Patterson,
