Vintage Rover Desert Rally Plans.

This trip, organized by the Land Rover Owners Club of Victoria, is to commemorate 50 years of Land Rover Production. The trip will run between the 26th of June and the 13th of July 1998, travelling through the Simpson Desert to Birdsville and return to Port Augusta.

Participants must be members of a 4WD club and own or drive a Series One, Two or early Series Three Land-Rover (25 years or older). Non-modified Rovers will recieve preference with the trip limit set at 25 vehicles. 10 places are reserved for participation by inter-state members.
