Subject: More Land Rover Information from Europe.
New 1996 MY Discovery being launched soon!! Same engines, improved Tdi
Automatic (120bhp, cruise control, soundproofing as standard on this model
only).
New Discovery XS - slots in between S & ES. This model has: 5 dished alloy
wheels (new design altogether) with Goodyear Eagle white lettered tyres,
integrated side rubbing strips & wheel arch covers, side lower body
graphics, twin manual sunroofs, part leather part cloth seats all round
(7), 5 door body style, 16 colour choice, auto option, Tdi or V8i power.
All three door bodies to have side rubbing strips as standard. All models
to have new five way adjustable front seats, and the ES gets a new stereo
system and electric front seats.
Prices are unsure as yet. Orders now being taken.
Range Rover gets 18 inch wheel options.
Defender CSW gets Freestyle Choice option as on Discovery.
New "Odin" to be launched during 1996. This is a small Land Rover fun car,
but unbelievably it apparantley has an integrated chassis & body design??
