2001 September: Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution concept car showed at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show.

The motivation is said to be "new regulation arrangements for Paris-Dakar [rally]". Beats me!

The car uses Mitsubishi's 3.5-litre V6 MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve lift and timing Electronic Control) engine and Super Select 4WD, AYC (Active Yaw Control), and ACD (Active Centre Differential).
