Mitsubishi Magna
2001 July:
A four wheel drive Mitsubishi Magna is very much on the cards,
not an offroad 4x4, but a street car.
But, Mitsubishi's master, Daimlerchrysler is playing tough with
Australian politicians over the future of car making in Adelaide -
in an election year - trying to extract financial support.
2001 May, Mitsubishi:
"All VRX Magnas will be fitted with 17"x7" alloy wheels,
and shod with 225/50R17 Bridgestone Grid II tyres as standard equipment."
The Magna VRX is the top-line model of the range.
Styling tweaks to the VRX and to the Magna Sports,
include "black brake calipers front and rear,
black interior door handles and a black insert on
the exterior door handles."
Stiffer suspension settings are also the go.
Options include
a limited edition leather (seat) pack
adds au1,750 to the price, a
sun roof another 1,750. total under 45K is what? -->
