Leaf-sprung Land Rover ambulance by Marshall

Marshall Specialist Vehicles of Cambridge England designs, manufactures and modifies vehicles for civilian and military markets. The family-owned company was founded in 1909 and now employs 3500 people in the fields of aerospace, airport ownership and management, engineering, and car and truck services.

One of its "lines" has been building military four wheel drive ambulances on Land Rover chassis. A 1996 success was in winning a contract for about 700 XD130 MOD ambulances based on the Land Rover Defender XD130. They also built the (in)famous Pink Panthers.
