2000 Mercedes Benz M-class
2000:
The Mercedes-Benz
M-class
has undergone various improvements -
all three rear seats now have lap-sash seat belts, as is the modern trend,
consequently the rear seat backs have been simplified to (just) a 60:40 split.
Side air-bags for the rear seats are an option.
The leather trim on the luxury option pack
now includes door-trim and door handles, and has
been generally improved in response to European (particularly) criticism.
