1999 October: Mazda's Active Vehicle concept 4WD wagon shown at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The car should go on sale in Japan in 2000, known as the Mazda Tribute. As of 4/'00, Mazda (au) plans to launch the Tribute in Australia in February 2001.
