Man 30-402 Truck 8x8

Man 30-402 8x8 cab-chassis. This Man 8x8 cab-chassis must be setting out on a delivery run to have a specialised body or equipment fitted. Suspension is by leaf-springs all round. (Some Man high-mobility trucks use coil springs.)
	Substantial leaf-springs, king-pins, anti-roll bar and steering gear on axle number 1 (left). "Rockers" equalize the load between axles 1 and 2 and between axles 3 and 4.
	Drive goes from the main gearbox via a short prop' shaft to a remote transfer case. It then travels to axles number 2 and 3. Drive is carried over axle number 2 (here) to axle number 1. You loose count of the number of universal joints.
