Mack Trucks 6x6.

2000 April: Renault agreed to sell its truck business, Renault V.I. / Mack, to Volvo (trucks). Just as Volvo decided to concentrate on trucks, having sold its car division to Ford, so Renault has decided to concentrate on cars.

2000: Mack Magnum semi-trailer at trucks in action has a Renault inspired cab, sprung on the chassis, and a Renault front-end.

The Australian Army has a number of Mack six wheel drive (6x6) heavy trucks. Some are used for heavy haulage, pulling transporters for tracked vehicles etc. There are a number of recovery vehicles fitted with twin jib booms and winches, and below is a water tanker.
