New for 1998 is an "entry level" Range Rover,
the Range Rover 4.0 at a mere 80,000.
Not exactly a hose-out four-wheel drive, this is still quite comfortable
and meant to bridge the gap between the more expensive Rangies
and the top of the
1998 also brought some serious oposition to the up-market
Range Rovers in the shape of the Mercedes
and the (Toyota) Lexus
