Landrover Defender Td5

The Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 with the new (1998/1999) 5-cylinder (yes five), direct injection, turbo-charged diesel, but still at the ``magic'' 2.5 litre capacity.

Initial impressions of the driveability of the Td5 are very good indeed. The Defender Xtreme Wagon has a centre diff' lock and traction control, ABS, and HDC. It also comes with alloy wheels(!) and a bull-bar.

It attracted a good deal of attention at the 1999 4WD Field Day
