1996 Lada Niva Cossack, 1.7L, fuel injected and other extras.

The Niva on the right is mine, the one on the left is a Niva Hawk, built for racing by Lada. It has a Nissan 300zx engine with automatic transmission. The bonnet is stretched 18 inches (about) and the front skirts were cut just behind the front wheels, where they were extended. The racing model is capable of over 260km/h.

The Lada Niva is often under-rated but it has full-time four wheel drive and the stability that comes from having a wheel right at each corner. It is also one of the cheapest 4x4's around.
