Kristjan Einarsson's 1979 Chevy van in front of one of Iceland's many glaciers. He made the modifications himself and is using it as a "summer hotel":-)
Engine: Chevy 350 cu.in. bored 0.10. cam.260 degrees, carb. Rochester M4M. parts are orginal. Transmission: Automatic THM 350 Orginal. Transfer case: Dana 20 from Blazer ´72. Front axle: Dana 44 with leaf suspension from Blazer ´72. Rear axle: Chevy 12 bolt.semi-floating with orginal leaf suspension. Differentaial ratio: 1:3,73. Between transmission and transfer case is a bolted flange with bearing and oil sealing. 33" tyres from Sidevinder.
