Ford Transit Van

2000 December: The Ford Transit arrives in Australia. The VH Transit offers a choice between a 2.3 litre petrol engine (103 at 5700, 200 at 2500) and a 2.4 litre intercooled turbo-charged diesel (88 at 4000, 240 at 2300); the diesel has 4-valves/cyl' in an aluminium head. 16" wheels are standard. ABS brakes and electronic brake distribution (EBD) are an option.
