Kiss Or Kill (1997).
Kiss or Kill is a stylish Australian road movie.
Young con merchants Nikki and Al
are unlucky in their choice of victim;
he turns out to have dodgy associates and shortly to be dead.
Nikki and Al go on the run pursued by the good guys and the bad guys.
It sounds like the American formula but it is very well done
with many original touches.
Leaving a trail of bodies behind them,
and each becoming more and more convinced that the other
is a homicidal maniac,
our duo "borrow" a Nissan Patrol
GQ
which takes them through some beautiful South Australian
scenery (too fast - do not do this in your own 4X4).
The film also features a police Toyota LandCruiser
70-series
LWB and we get a glimpse of an unusual V8 Land Rover Defender 110
[like this],
one of only a few built specially for the
Australian bicentenary in 1988,
and now owned by actor Chris Haywood
who plays `Hummer' in the movie
(the cops get the best lines).
