Daewoo Tacuma

-

2000 October: The Daewoo Tacuma is one of the new station wagons/ hatch backs/ small people movers. It will hold five, and the three rear seats fold individually and can be removed to create a large load space.

The Tacuma owes its stylish looks to Pininfarina (pity about the grille), the wedge shape being used to make good head room for the rear seat occupants, who sit higher and in a more upright position than in most cars - it is not a bad way to travel.

The 2 -litre DOHC engine is built by GM Holden in Melbourne. It drives the front wheels and generates 94kW at 5600rpm and 183Nm at 4000rpm.
