AEC - the Associated Equipment Company of the UK.
FWD (England) was set up after world war one due to the number
of FWD trucks left in Europe after the war.
From 1929 FWD trucks were built in conjunction with AEC and
later still they were marketted simply as AEC trucks.

This British AEC Matador 4WD truck dates from World War Two.
The trucks are held by the Imperial War Museum.
