Audi A2
1999 Sept':
Audi showed the new Audi A2 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The A2 is Audi's first small car (tiny by US standards)
at an overall length of 3.82m.
It follows other recent Audis in having an aluminium body -
a material that is harder to form than steel but one that is light,
has good corrosion resistance and is easily recycled.
