2001 June: Alfa Romeo Spider V6 24V, $71,950 ($au). Alfa Romeo claim a top speed of 223km/h and 0 - 100km/h in 6.8 seconds. The company also writes poetry in the blurb: "[the car] also provides a unique aural soundtrack that sends shivers down the spine." There!
The Spider has a 2956cc V6 engine (162kW),
a 6-speed manual gearbox which drives the front wheels,
ABS brakes with EBD, force distribution -->
front airbags and seat belt pretensioners.
It is fitted with a
CD player audio system and climate control air conditioning.
2001:
Alfa Romeo reports that it will
import the Spider V6 into Australia before the end of the year.
The Spider is powered by a 160kW V6 engine.
