5 August 2004: DaimlerChrysler Sales Buck Negative July Trend: Sales of DaimlerChrysler passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, buses and heavy trucks in Australia grew by 8.8 per cent last month as compared to the total new vehicle market which fell by 20.8 per cent. According to VFACTS figures, the total July market fell by 20,177 units or 20.8 percent, whilst DaimlerChrysler imported products grew by 8.8 per cent to 2,363 units for the month.

5 August 2004: Melbourne - Chrysler and Jeep® have achieved combined sales of 542 units in July taking year to date sales to 4,159, an 11 per cent increase on last years figure. The result was supported by the continuing success story of the Jeep Wrangler, with sales for the rugged off-roader up 74 per cent over last year.
