the 156 saloon, 166, and Spider and GTV.
Audi
has the Allroad, based on the A6 and with quattro 4x4, to challenge the BMW X5.
The RS4 is a lightning quick version of the
A4 wagon.
BMW's X5,
challenging the Mercedes Benz M-class and
the (ex BMW) Range Rover,
will be the main interest for four wheel drivers.

a concept crew-cab Falcon ute.
GM Holden have a VU Commodore ute, and there is

The smaller

is being marketted aggressively.
Land Rover
have the new 2.5 litre V6 petrol,
and Td4 turbo-diesel Freelanders.

the rotary engined sports car.
Four wheel drivers will be interested in the
Tribute
(cum Ford Escape).
MG has the a
"new Steptronic MGF with CVT offering automatic and manual shift."
Classic Motoring Imports looks set to become the Australian distributor
of Rover and MG cars in Australia.
Rover 75 sedan
looks set for Australia after all.
After being at the Melbourne show in March '00,
BMW's sale of Rover had put the car in doubt.

Subaru
Impreza, released in Japan early 2000, Australia late 2000.
Suzuki's
Ignis is new and
sensible, but the 1.6 litre World Rally Car version
is a wild and wooly.
Volkswagen
Advanced Activity Vehicle, i.e. a four wheel drive.
Volvo
will have the new S60 sedan,
also an Australian Federal Police's Volvo V70 T5.
